In an ongoing effort to support our community in northeastern Minnesota, CanoeCountry.com has adopted a 2 mile stretch of North Shore HWY 61 in
Cascade River State Park and a 2 mile stretch on Hwy 1 south of Ely, Minnesota. We are now looking for volunteers to
help for approximately 2-3 hours on a Saturday or Sunday in spring,
summer or fall of each year. We clean three times a year. All
participants will receive a free lunch,
after assisting with the roadside clean-up. We have two areas, one is on the North Shore of Lake Superior on Hwy 61 in Cascade River State Park/Lutsen, Minnesota, and the other is just a few miles south of Ely, Minnesota on Hwy
1. Please e-mail
or
call 218-387-2075 for further info or to sign up. Must be 18 or
older to participate. |
Boundary Waters/Quetico Park Bulletin Boards
Which consists of posting
current events and news, responding to questions, answers and inquiries about
the Boundary Waters and Quetico Park. This involves NO
e-mail exchange, unless you decide to directly contact the author or someone decides to
directly e-mail you. You visit it, it doesn't visit you, for the most part this forum
takes place on a bulletin board. The LIST and the bulletin board are two separate entities
and if you post to the bulletin board it will not be on the LIST, and vice versa.
